Apple's first computer wasn't anything special but led to the companies success throughout the years. The Apple one was an 8 bit motherboard that housed 256 bytes of storage. It was one of the inexpensive computers of the time and was only used for certain tasks coded on the motherboard.

After the Apple two, Apple created a new computer named the Macintosh, it was capable of doing most things and had a unique design to those in the current market. The Macintosh came equipped with a mouse that most computers didn't have for navigation. With this new computer you could print out cool fonts and designs on your text. Although this computer came with it's perks it wasn't perfect. To start the new macintosh was slow and new owners had to be prepared to wait for the computer to be ready for it's next command. It also couldn't run any of the thousands of commands for the Apple 2 computer or the IBM. The storage for the Macintosh was also very small and didn't hold much space.

Moving ahead a couple generations Apple came out with the iBook. This came out shortly after the iMac and was significantly smaller. They called it a notebook computer and stated that it broke new grounds in the personal computer industry. The design of the new iMac was again different from other computers in the market and it also used wireless technology. This new computer was shaped like a shell and had a plastic and rubber housing on the outside in which you could choose from two different colors. It came with an innovative design, that being it had no latch and just lifted up. It's cord was slender and resembled a yoyo, this allowed it to be tangle free. The charger also had a light on it that would change from amber to green when it was fully charged. It also had a six hour battery life and was powered by a fast microprocessor.

Apple's MacBook was something that people had been anticipating for a long time. It was run off of the same intel chip that the previous notebook computers used, but it was a lot faster than the previous models. It was also sold at a consumer friendly price, and was a versatile machine. It offered a brighter display on a bigger screen and had a faster processor installed into it. This new computer came with more selections on storage and was upgradable ranging from sixty to one hundred gigabytes. It also came with a camera so you could take goofy photos in the photo booth app. This computer was slightly heavier than the iBook making it a little harder to carry around while traveling. The Macbook has been around since 2006 and has slowly broken new grounds in speed, capacity, applications, and price.
